Golf Camps

 

The Braeside Junior Golf Program at Braeside Golf Club is perfect for the busy family because there is no commitment required. your son or daughter can attend as many or as few days at they would like.

Days: Every Monday until school starts in the Fall
Times: Check in at 8:15am & pick up at 1:30pm
Cost: $25 per week per child
Includes: 2 Hours of instruction on full swing & short game with PGA Professional, Jeff Thiessen + lunch and golf on the course
Ages: 8-15 years of age

Daily Itinerary

8:15am - Player Registration
8:30am - Rules Overview with Questions & Answers
8:50am - Full Swing Overview
9:10am - Short Game (chipping & putting) Overview
9:40am - Group 1 Full Swing & Group 2 Short Game
10:15am - Break
10:35am - Group 1 Short Game & Group 2 Full Swing
11:15am - Lunch
11:40am - Golf on the Course
1:30pm - Parent Pick Up

What Every Child Will Learn

FULL SWING - we will cover all facets of the golf swing including PRE SWING: posture, grip, alignment (PGA) and IN SWING: club head swing path, weight transfer and movement

SHORT GAME - we will cover all facets of short game including PUTTING: pre stroke set up and the stroke and CHIPPING: pre stroke set up and stroke (putting with a lofted club)

GOLF on the COURSE - we will monitor their play while covering all facets of play on the course including player safety, pace of play, rules and strategy
